In 2006, Opera Santa Barbara created a special Founders Fund. The Fund is designed to support Opera Santa Barbara's goals of becoming a major opera destination and increasing both the breadth and quality of its productions in The Granada.

Ten Founders pledged $50,000 each, payable over three years. These funds have been segregated from our ongoing Annual Fund and reserved exclusively to fund the up-front production and marketing costs associated with our expanded offerings.
