Opera Santa Barbara is dedicated to providing quality educational programs for the entire community. Following are our 2008/09 Outreach Programs.

OPERA ON THE GO
A series designed to give insight into the fascinating world of opera.

OPERA REVEALED
Pre-performance lectures held in the theatre 45-minutes prior to curtain of each fully staged opera performance.

TALK BACKS
Following select performances, the Stage Director and other members of our productions are available at the front of the house for an informal question and answer session.

OPERA IN THE SCHOOLS
A unique outreach program designed to provide school children with an overview of opera.

STUDENT DRESS REHEARSALS
All final dress rehearsals of our operas are offered FREE to full-time students of all ages.

LEARNING GUIDES
Special learning guides for teachers and parents.
